Torque Converter Works is able to
rebuild or repair any brand
of torque converter made.

awa2002.jpg (335941 bytes) All converters are rebuilt with the torque converter rebuilding system known as TCRS. TCRS systems are used by Ford, GM and Chrysler to exceed OEM quality.
Each converter is assembled one at a time with an aluminum or steel stators.

And with your choice of sprags:

  • 8 roller clutch

  • 20 element

  • Mechanical diode

  • Spragless

TCW uses a one piece machined covers for 8 inch and 9.5 inch GM and Ford applications. Furnace braised fins, extra tacked for strength. We use fully enclosed Torrington thrust bearings through out. Then top it off with a balloon plate (if needed) and heat treated precision hub. We then pressure test each converter and electronically balance it to within 2 grams.

TCW offers the most competitive prices on complete rebuilds, or we will just cut your converter apart, inspect it for defects and then freshen it up if necessary. We rebuild and stock a full line of torque converters ranging from lock-ups, to unique import applications, to the impossible to find antiques.

Our Guarantee

Torque Converter Works guarantees all competition converters to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase. All street performance and RV converters are guaranteed for ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. During warranty period Torque Converter Works will repair or replace any part that is determined to be defective due to workmanship or materials.
